Amber Walraven’s Research and Teaching

“One more week before the Xmasbreak! This first half of the academic 2011-2012 year has flown by! A short update (however, short is pretty long with me usually…) and a promise to write a blog during the holiday, reacting to several things happening outside my own little education and research world!”

Oh my! I didn’t keep my promise! No blog post  during the holiday, and no blog post in the first 2 months of 2012! The only excuse I have is: I have been busy with teaching and research. Unfortunately the first thing that goes during these busy weeks is blogging. Very unfortunate, since this is the best way to come down from my ivory tower and talk about my courses and research.  Plus: i just like to blog! 

All my course deserve their own blog post. So in the next week, I will write posts on Atelier 1, CIMP, Integrating Technology in Schools, SPA and the preparations for Atelier 2.

There is so much I could write about my research!  I’ll keep it short now, and in the next months, while analyzing the results, I will keep you posted! 

2 out of 3 designed projects have been implemented succesfully! I enjoyed seeing the teachers implement the projects and the first reactions I got from students were very positive. And: the involved teachers are also pretty satisfied! In the coming weeks I’ll tell you more! 

Glad I let my blog come back to life!!!
